Verifying a Heavy-Duty Work Truck in Dallas–Fort Worth
A client needed independent proof that a specialized six-wheel-drive truck existed, was where it should be and actually worked. Two visits and a recorded ride-along settled it.

A first date asked a consistent set of questions about work, home and money. A background check found a documented history of identity theft.
A man had a good first date in Katy. The conversation was easy and the chemistry was real. On the drive home, though, he kept replaying the evening and noticed how many of her questions were about specifics: exactly where he worked, what he did, whether he owned or rented, how long he had been in his job. One at a time they sounded like curiosity. Together, they felt like something else.
He contacted us the next day. He had no evidence, just a feeling he couldn’t dismiss.
With dating apps, the person you meet is largely who they choose to present. A background check looks behind that. He gave us her name, phone number, general area and the profile they had connected through, which was enough to begin.
The public record showed a documented history of identity theft. That explained the pattern of questions he had noticed.
He did not go on a second date, and he kept his identity, credit and accounts safe. The check cost a small fraction of what identity theft could have. When something feels off, it is worth finding out why.
Names and identifying details have been changed, and this case is shared with the client’s permission.
